What Ceramic Coating is NOT (Managing Expectations)

• Not Scratch-Proof or Chip-Proof: While ceramic coating significantly enhances scratch resistance, it will not prevent deep scratches, rock chips, or damage from significant impacts. For ultimate physical impact protection, we recommend considering Paint Protection Film (PPF).

• Not a Replacement for Washing: While your car will stay cleaner and be much easier to wash, it still needs regular cleaning. Ceramic coating doesn't eliminate the need for proper washing; it simply makes the process more efficient and effective.

• Doesn't Eliminate All Water Spotting: While hydrophobicity greatly reduces water spotting by causing water to bead, minerals in tap water can still leave spots if allowed to dry on the surface, especially in hard water areas. A quick wipe-down after washing is always beneficial.

• Not a Repair for Existing Damage: Ceramic coating does not fill in or fix existing swirl marks, scratches, or paint defects. For optimal results, paint correction (polishing to remove imperfections) is a crucial step performed before ceramic coating application.

Our Professional Ceramic Coating Process

1. Thorough Decontamination Wash: We start with a deep clean to remove all surface contaminants like dirt, grime, tar, and iron particles.

2. Paint Correction: We perform expert polishing to remove swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and other imperfections from your vehicle's paint. This creates a perfectly smooth, defect-free surface for the coating to bond to. Even new cars often require this step!

3. Surface Preparation: After correction, the paint is meticulously wiped down with specialized solutions to remove any remaining oils or polishing residues, ensuring a clean, bare surface for maximum coating adhesion.

4. Expert Ceramic Coating Application: Our trained professionals carefully apply the ceramic coating panel by panel, ensuring even coverage and proper bonding.

5. Curing Time: After application, the vehicle requires a specific curing period (typically 12-24 hours) where it must remain dry and undisturbed to allow the coating to fully harden and bond. Full curing can take up to several weeks, and we'll provide specific aftercare instructions.

Maintaining Your Ceramic Coated Vehicle

• Wash Regularly: Hand wash your vehicle regularly using a pH-neutral car shampoo and soft microfiber wash mitts.

• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh degreasers, or automatic car washes that use brushes.

• Use Ceramic-Safe Products: Consider using ceramic-boost sprays or top coats designed to maintain the coating's hydrophobic properties and gloss between washes.
